Abby and Brittany Hensel step out with husband and pup after baby buzz shakes the internet

The famously conjoined twins just made another rare public appearance and social media can’t stop talking.

Abby and Brittany Hensel, the now 35-year-old conjoined twins who first captivated the world on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1996, were spotted running errands in Minneapolis late last month, and this time, they weren’t alone.

Alongside them was Abby’s husband, Josh Bowling, and their adorable Labradoodle, after sparking major baby speculation in August.

From Groceries to Groomers

In the new photos, the twins wore casual summer attire, a pale blue tank top, shorts, and sandals, as they walked their curly-haired dog to a local groomer. Meanwhile, Josh was seen picking up beers and seltzers, later loading them into the back of their Tesla.

They looked relaxed, even playful — a slice of everyday life that comes after more than a month of headlines and questions.

Baby News Still Unconfirmed

In late August, the Hensels were seen placing a baby carrier with a newborn into their Tesla, sending the internet into a frenzy. Later, they were photographed introducing the infant to friends at the school where they work.

But nearly a month later, despite the photos, and the fact that Abby and Josh married last year, the couple hasn’t confirmed whether the baby is theirs.

A Love Story That Shocked Fans

The world first learned of Abby and Josh’s secret marriage in early 2024, when marriage records surfaced, followed by TikToks and wedding photos shared by the couple.

Josh, a U.S. Army veteran, also has a daughter from a previous relationship and Abby is now a stepmother. Still, the idea that the twins might now also be raising a baby together sparked fresh debate, fascination, and support online.

“We know you think you know us,” the twins captioned one of their TikTok videos. “#sisterhoodgoals.”

They’ve Been Preparing for This Moment

The Hensel twins have never shied away from discussing motherhood. In their 2003 documentary Joined for Life, their mother Patty said: “That is probably something that could work because those organs do work for them.”

Brittany added at the time: “Yeah, we’re going to be moms.”

Now, over two decades later, that moment may have arrived, even if the twins are keeping things private for now.
