AOC Denies Medicaid for Illegal Immigrants Exists as Democrats Sue to Block DHS Review

What are they trying to hide — and why now?

Twenty Democrat-led states are suing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). According to critics, their goal is simple: stop a federal review that might uncover illegal immigrants receiving taxpayer-funded Medicaid.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta leads the legal charge. He argues that the federal government violated privacy rules by ordering health officials to send Medicaid data to DHS.

“This will scare people away from getting medical care,” Bonta warned.

However, conservatives believe the lawsuit is part of a larger strategy to keep the public in the dark.

Meanwhile, Trump’s Plan Exposes Medicaid Abuse

In June, the federal government launched a new initiative. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) began sharing enrollee data with DHS. This includes names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and immigration status.

As a result, states like California, Illinois, Washington, and D.C. are pushing back. They claim the policy violates patients’ rights.

Nevertheless, records show that some of these states already offer Medicaid-like benefits to undocumented immigrants. Although these programs use state funds, the data still passes through federal systems.
